Vegas Strip Blackjack 3z2e3w

The Las Vegas Strip is a 4.2 mile stretch on the outskirts of Las Vegas. It’s known for the infamous Welcome to Las Vegas sign, 15 of the 25 world’s largest hotels and 24/7 gaming and entertainment.

It also serves as inspiration for the blackjack variation, Vegas Strip Blackjack.

Vegas Strip Blackjack is a any number of Microgaming and Real Time Gaming casinos.

I’m going to cover the rules of Vegas Strip below. However, if you’re already familiar with blackjack than this will be an easy game to learn. There are only a couple of subtle differences you need to know.

How to Play Vegas Strip Blackjack 344d4p

The objective of Vegas Strip Blackjack is simple. You want to beat the dealer’s hand without exceeding 21 points.

A hand starts off similarly to traditional blackjack. 4 (52-card) decks are used, although some online casinos will use 6 decks. The cards are shuffled and the dealer gives each player 2 cards, one at a time. Then each player will act and be paid using the following rules.

Player Options

  • Players can split up to 3 hands, making 4 playable hands.
  • Players can double down on any two cards. Players can only double down once.
  • Players can double down after splitting their hand.
  • Players can split any two cards that are the same value. That means that you can split a pair of 4s or 8s, but you can also split a KQ, JT or KJ.
  • Players can split aces (only once).
  • Aces that have been split and valued at 21 points are not blackjacks. They are paid even money.
  • Players can accept insurance. Insurance pays 2:1.
  • Ties are pushes, and original bets are returned to the player.
  • Players cannot surrender.

Dealer Options

  • Dealer will peek for blackjacks when holding an ace or 10-point card.
  • Dealer will stand on all (hard/soft) 17 hands.

Card Values

  • Cards 2-10 are worth their face value.
  • Face cards are worth 10 points.
  • Aces are worth 1 or 11 points.

Payouts

  • Blackjack pays 3:2
  • Insurance pays 2:1

Playing Vegas Strip Online 731e2

Vegas Strip can be played online for as little as $1, and depending on the casino, for as much as $100-$500 per hand. Some online casinos offer a multi-hand version of Vegas Strip Blackjack. This gives you more opportunities to win, and you’re less bored, too, as you spend more time playing than you do waiting.

If real money blackjack is not your thing, you can find a free version of Vegas Strip. This gives you the opportunity to test the game and software before you sign up to the casino (and play for real money).
